National Merit Semifinalists #LeboProud


Congratulations to our Mt. Lebanon High School seniors who were selected as National Merit Semifinalists in the 2018 National Merit Scholarship Competition. They are: Grace Brown, William Buerger, Jackson Debski, Anne Jin, Katherine McRury, Abby Mirra, Nikolas Mustian, Otis Smith, Mariana Tandon, James Wang and Jonathan Yang.

Pittsburgh Business Times 8th Grade Ranking

Congratulations to our middle schools on the Pittsburgh Business Times 8th Grade rankings. Jefferson Middle School was ranked #1 among 157 middle schools in the region, and Mellon Middle School was ranked #6.

Mt. Lebanon Designated a "Safe Communities America"

Mt. Lebanon has received a Safe Communities America designation from the National Safety Council, placing it among an elite number of United States cities dedicated to preventing injury and death. The Mt. Lebanon School District is proud to have been a member of the founding coalition that contributed to the application. Read More


2017 Great Alumni

Mt. Lebanon High School welcomed the recipients of the 2017 Great Alumni Award to the high school on October 6. This year's recipients are: Judith Balk, M.D. Class of 1981; Cheston M. Berlin, M.D. Class of 1954; Tacy Byham, Ph.D. Class of 1986; Steffanie Jones Lewis, Class of 1954; Linn F. Mollenauer, Ph.D. Class of 1954; Michael J. School Board Considers Options for Rock Pile

At the October 9 School Board Discussion Meeting, the Board discussed different field options for the "Rock Pile" practice field. The options included a variety of field options including size and type of surface. The Board agreed to continue discussion about the field surface (turf or grass) with the consensus among Board members that a competitive size field was preferred. Read More


HS Evening Theatre Presents "You Can't Take It With You"

 The Mt. Lebanon High School Evening and Technical Theatre Companies are proud to present the Hart and Kaufman classic You Can't Take It With You directed by Jennifer Majetic, on November 8 -11 at 7:30pm in the Fine Arts Theatre. Event to Honor Basketball Coach Dick Black

Please join us as we honor Coach Dick Black's basketball career with the Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils on Saturday, November 25. The event will begin at 10 a.m. with a tour of the new Hall of Champions in the Athletic Wing followed by the Plaque Dedication at 11 a.m in the South Gym.
