High School Students Compete in Science Bowl

Nine Mt. Lebanon High School students competed in the Southwestern PA Science Bowl on Saturday, February 22nd. The event is sponsored by the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) along with local universities and corporations. This year, 43 high school teams went head-to-head. Mt. Lebo team 1 (Stephen Snow, Lily Chen, Namandeep Singh, and Azfar Merchant) took 3rd place in the Youghiogheny Division. Mt. Lebo team 2 (Andrea Misetic, Rida Merchant, Sierra VanDijk, and Billy Moorhead) placed 6th and additionally received the Civility Award for sportsmanship and enthusiasm! The award includes passes to the Phipps Conservatory. Coaches are Josh Bilak and Pamela Harris.
