Dr. Steinhauer thanks the custodians and maintenance workers for their outstanding work in the schools.
As we come to the end of a very successful first week of school, we need to take a moment to thank the Districtís custodial and maintenance crew for all of their hard work to get our ten schools ready for students. Our buildings have never looked better both inside and out, especially the landscaping and maintenance of the school grounds.
Special recognition goes to the high school team for getting the school ready in the midst of a major construction project. High school classrooms were moved to new locations while new classrooms were unpacked, cleaned and re-cleaned as work continued on the 6th floor of B Building up to the first day of school.
Thank you to our building custodial and maintenance staff, Facilities Director Carl Salemi and his department, and Jeff Kaiser, High School Manager of Building Operations on a job well done!
