Sending Them on Their Way: A Memorable 100th Commencement June 13, 2014
The newest members of the Mt. Lebanon Alumni family.
This year's commencement ceremony turned out to be one of the best, even though the weather didn't cooperate. The Main Gym was put to excellent use as the indoor site for graduation due to the torrential rain, high winds, and a tornado watch that moved into the area before the ceremony. Principal Brian McFeeley, the high school administration and staff, and the high school maintenance staff did a tremendous job planning for both an outdoor and indoor ceremony. The Technology Department worked very hard to have a live cable feed ready for both the stadium and the gym while setting up live broadcasts in two cafeterias and the Fine Arts Theatre to accommodate the overflow crowd, all while streaming live on the web. It took a village, but it all came together, and by the smiles on everyone's faces it was a great success. Congratulations to our graduates. We will miss you!
