APRIL NEWS 2008

April 26, 2008

THANK YOU!

We would like to thank everyone who assisted with our annual spring fundraiser. The Blue Devil Wrestlers, coaches, and parents helped the tennis center bring down their bubbles. It was a total team effort and we were able to finish in record time. The tennis center was extremely impressed with the discipline and hard work ethic our kids demonstrated throughout the day. Great job Lebo!

Special thanks to seniors Billy Buono and Brandon Moidel for assisting... to our parents Steve Patrick, Linda Lodge and Cindy Hinds... to our middle school wrestlers who joined us.... and to Coach Allemang, Coach Hnath and Coach Kirov for running the show. The tennis center will make a large donation to the booster club for the great job our program did "bringing down the bubbles." Please visit our webpage or flowrestling for more pictures of the day.

New Section Realignment
2008-09 Season

The new section realignments for the 2008-2009 season have been posted by the WPIAL. Each section will be split into sub-sections (A & B). Our section will contain Canon-Mac, Chartiers Valley, Mt. Lebanon, Montour, and Trinity. The other sub-section will contain Ambridge, Blackhawk, Hopewell, Moon, and West Allegheny. We are only required to wrestle the schools in our subsection.

The top two (2) from each subsection will wrestle on January 21, 2009 for the section title.  1a vs 2b, 1b vs 2a.  Then winners wrestle for the section championship, losers wrestle for 3rd & 4th.  All 4 qualify for the team tournament.

GOOD LUCK!

Good luck to Andy Buttlar who is competing in the Tournament of Champions in Ohio this weekend. This is one of the top ranked youth tournaments nationally.  We are proud that you will be representing Lebo at this prestigious tournament.
