Summer Wrestling Camp
The coaching staff is encouraging all our athletes to make a point to attend a wrestling camp this summer. This year we are endorsing the Edinboro Team Camp which will be held June 22-26.

There are other great camp opportunities out there and a wrestler should feel free to attend others but we wanted to encourage as many kids to go to one camp so that they have other team members to spend the week with. Great team bonding opportunity.

"On the Mat" Clinics Kickoff
Thank you to the wrestlers who attended the first in a series of weekend clinics featuring 2x Olympian Panayot Kirov. Wrestlers from Mt. Lebanon, Seneca Valley, North Allegheny, Fox Chapel, Bethel Park, and Chartiers Valley all joined together to learn more about the international styles of wrestling. Photos

We wish the wrestlers competing in the Delaware Valley Duals good luck this weekend. Representing Mt. Lebanon and Southwestern PA are Andy Butler, Matt Patrick, Steve Patrick, Jack Hnath, J.T. Buda and Ian MacLeod. Also competing in a tournament in Ohio this weekend is Adam Kemerer. Good luck LEBO!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 6th Annual "unofficial" Wing Eating Contest! Over 30 wrestlers, coaches, managers and parents showed up to see who had the intestinal fortitude to put down that one last wing. Also, thank you to our coaches... Coach Allemang, Coach Hnath, and Coach Kirov for showing the folks how to eat. Thank you to the parents who served as taxi drivers and honorary eaters... Jimmy Johns, Chris Kemerer and Tom Hinds. And a special thank you to Coach Allemang for organizing and creating a fun evening for all!

6th Annual "Unofficial" Wing Eating Contest
Our 6th Annual "Unofficial" Wing Eating Contest will tentatively be held on Tuesday, May 13 at the Quaker Steak and Lube at Robinson Towne Center. All wrestlers are invited to join us in this "all you can eat" wing eating contest of skill and intenstinal fortitude. Any parent interested in stepping up to the plate is welcome to join us. More information will be distributed to the wrestlers at school.
