Congrats Lil' Devils
Congratulations to Louie Rentler and Turner Gray for placing 3rd in the Kiski Fall Classic over the weekend. They both qualified for the 2008 Border Wars - Folkstyle Nationals next weekend in Battle Creek, Michigan. The high school program wishes you both good luck!

Weight Certifications
A reminder that weight certifications for all wrestlers grades 9-12 will be this Friday, October 24. Wrestlers should drink plenty of water throughout the day to ensure that they are fully hydrated at the time of their weight assessment.
Meet the Coaches
Don't forget to mark your calendar for our pre-season "Meet the Coaches" night. The meeeting will be held next Thursday, October 30 at 7:00 PM. We will meet in Room 413 at the high school.
Welcome
We would like to welcome back former Lebo alumni Casey DeGiovanni to the Blue Devil Wrestling Program. Coach DeGiovanni was recently hired as an assistant wrestling coach at Mellon Middle School. Casey was a WPIAL Qualifier... qualified for the Freestyle Junior National Tournament... and wrestled collegiately at Duquesne University. Welcome Coach DeGiovanni!

Lebo coaches meet living legends
Coach Allemang and Coach Lewis just returned from the PWCA Annual Coaches Convention & Clinic. This year's clinicians were an all-star cast of "who's who" in the world of wrestling... Dan Gable, John Smith, Kerry McCoy, Ben Askern, Rande Stottlemyer, Rick & Rocky Bonomo, and Pat Santoro. It was a great experience for our coaches to learn from the best and also talk with living legend Dan Gable... see picture below.

Great Day for a Wrestling Picnic

Important Meeting
There will be an important meeting held after school on Thursday, October 16 for anyone interested in wrestling this year. Important information will be distributed about the forms needed for participation and the weight certification process. The meeting will be held in Room 413 (High School).

Fall Wrestling Picnic
A reminder that our fall wrestling picnic for high school families and supporters is this Saturday, October 11! The picnic will be held at the Rec. Center - Pavilion 2 and begin around 1:00 PM. We hope you will all join us for a great afternoon of fun!

Lebo Alumni & Wrestler Gives Back
Andrew Buda (recent graduate) and members of the Waynesburg University Wrestling Team have been making an effort to give back to their community.
