Pennsylvania Health Screening Program
  GROWTH SCREENING is completed for all students in Grades K – 12. A growth screening letter will be sent home to all parents of students in Grades K – 12. This will include the Body Mass Percentile which is used as a guideline to help assess whether a person may be overweight or underweight. 
  VISION SCREENING is completed for all students in Grades K-12. This screening is not a substitute for a comprehensive eye examination by an eye care specialist. If your child fails this screening, a referral will be mailed home.
 

HEARING SCREEING is completed for students in Grades K, 1, 2, 3, 7, and 11. This screening is not a substitute for an audiology examination by your health care provider. If you child fails this screening, a referral will be mailed home.
