                                                          Achievement Highlights

 

       
  • District results show consistently high performance on all measures of academic achievement.
  • Nine schools have a School Performance Profile score of 90 or above.
          –High School scored the highest of all schools in Allegheny County (99.5) and the highest in the state of non-charter or magnet schools. 
         –Lincoln Elementary School- Title 1 School: Reward (High Achieving)
         –Washington Elementary School – Title 1 School: Reward (High Progress)
  • PSSA scores far exceed state averages in all areas.
  • District PSSA Composite scores are above 90% proficiency in Reading, Math, Science and Writing.
                                                      Recognitions
  • Pittsburgh Business Times ranked Mt. Lebanon School District as 2nd in 2013, an improvement from a rank of 5th in 2012.
  • US News and World Report: Mt. Lebanon High School ranked 11th in the State for 2013.
  • Newsweek – America’s Best High Schools: Mt. Lebanon High School ranked 346 in the nation for 2013, an improvement from a rank of 518 in 2012.
  • Lincoln Elementary School is recognized for the 3rd time as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.
