Elementary Lunch Program
Our program follows the nutritional requirements of the National School Lunch Program, the nutritional standards set by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Mt. Lebanon School District’s wellness policy. The Food Service Department will provide freshly prepared, nutritious lunches that will include a daily choice of a Hot Entrée, a Cold Entrée or a Garden Salad as well as a variety of fruits and vegetables. The cost per lunch is $1.75. Milk is included with the meal. Additional milk may be purchased for $.40 a carton.
You may apply for free or reduced price school lunch meals online at the COMPASS website at www.compass.state.pa.us or download an application from this website. Student Lunch Account balances can be found on DASHBOARD. Log in to your account and select the "$" icon at the top of the screen.

Information About the Elementary Lunch Program

The Elementary Lunch Program is a cashless point-of-sale program. Questions regarding student lunch accounts can be directed to the District Finance Office at 412-344-2087 or email jvetter@mtlsd.net.
Payment options
•Checks / cash may be dropped off at your child’s school office in the morning. Contact the District Finance Office at 412-344-2087 for student account information.
•Money may be deposited on-line by logging onto www.payforit.net
•Checks / cash may be sent to the District Finance Office listing the student’s name and school.
•Checks may be mailed to:

•Make checks payable to: Mt. Lebanon School District. Please write the student's name and school on the check.
Lunch Orders and Pick-up:
•Students are issued a lunch card with their student ID number which are kept in their homerooms. Cards are distributed each morning to students ordering lunch or milk.
•Students select their meal choice each morning.
•Meals are self-service in the school lunch room.
•Students present ID card to the cashier to be charged for the meal.
•Students may select unlimited fruits and vegetables but can only purchase one entrée and go through the lunch line once.
Student ID numbers will remain the same every school year through high school. If a student account is depleted or lunch money is left at home, the system is designed to allow a student to charge a meal that day. However, negative balances must be paid off immediately. Pay Online
For added convenience, you may opt to deposit money for a 5.75% fee in a student lunch account online by using PayForIt.net. Log in at www.payforit.net to:
• Set up an account. You’ll need a valid email address, a credit card and a student identification number. Call the District Finance Office at 412-344-2087 for student account information.

• Check your child’s account balance

Elementary Menu Nutrition Information
All school lunch entrees are CN ( Child Nutrition ) labeled products that meet the USDA Dietary Guidelines and the Federal Nutrition Standards. |
