Titanic
TITANIC is a cooperative, problem solving game introduced to all students in grades 1-5 this year. Students are passengers on the famous ocean liner who must use the various pieces of equipment such as scooters, mats, (lifeboats), pillo polo sticks, balls, cones and boxes to move everyone and everything from one end of the gymnasium across the ocean to the docks in front of the stage. The waters are shark infested, cold and toxic and though they may paddle with their hands, the students must keep their feet out of the water.
Students must work together to problem solve, create and execute a rescue plan. Mother Nature has the ability to cause havoc as the wind and waves tip lifeboats, supply boxes and send either floating back into the ocean. The students did a great job and thoroughly became involved.
