Mt. Lebanon High School will be utilizing an online course selection process for the 2010-11 school year.  Click here for an explanation of the process.

Students will be required to complete their online course selections via their Dashboard accounts by Monday, January 18, 2010.  Parental approval for course selections will also be required via parental dashboards by, Monday, January 25, 2010.  Students may continue to alter their course selections via their dashboards through the time that a parent/guardian has approved/signed off on course selections via the parental dashboard.  If you disagree with your child's selections please have him/her make corrections directly through the student dashboard PRIOR to submitting parental approval.   Once a parent/guardian has approved a student's selections these selections will be locked and students will no longer be able to make online adjustments through the dashboard.  Instead, they will need to contact their counselor to make any course selection changes.  The deadline for amendments to course selections through one's counselor will be Monday, March 15, 2010 to accommodate building of the master schedule at the high school.

Available on the high school web-site will be guided instructions that will be shared with students and parents during classroom visitations and curriculum night.  Again, please be sure to complete online course selections via the student dashboard by Monday, January 18, 2010 and parental approval via the parental dashboard by  Monday, January 25, 2010.

High school counselors will be visiting both Mellon MS and Jefferson MS on Wednesday, January 6th and Thursday, January 7th respectively to introduce this system to our current 8th grade students.

At the high school course catalogs were distributed the morning of Monday, January 4, 2010 via homerooms. Counselors at the high school will meet with every academic and honors English class grades 9-11 on Wednesday, January 6th, Thursday, January 7th and Friday, January 8th to discuss this new process.   .

Counselors will also continue to collect hardcopy selection sheets as we pilot this new system.
