 Library Orientation 2007

THIS IS AN INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENT. Because the nature of the questions, your answers will differ depending on your background and interests.  The copying of answers will result in a grade of zero for both parties. If you have any questions while you are completing the orientation process, please ask me. I am available to help you with anything that you do with this project or any other project over the next four years. Good luck and welcome to the library!

Sincerely,
Mrs. Smith

DIRECTIONS FOR COMPLETING THE ORIENTATION PACKET
There are three parts to the online library orientaiton.

Part One:  Library Map-- This was given to you in the library.

Part Two: The Card Catalog and WebPath Express

Part Three: Using Online Databases for Research

At the bottom of this page you will open a link to a Word document that contains the questions for parts two and three as well as a space for answers.  You have two options for processing your answers.
Option One: Print the entire answer sheet and hand write your answers.
Option Two: Type your answers into the form.  You may then save it to a disk or USB drive for later completion.  You may also submit your finished answer sheet via e-mail by sending it to me at Csmith@mtlsd.net.  Please put your name and the word "orientation" in the subject line.

Click here to open the orientation answer sheet.  Do your best!
Click here if you need to print an extra copy of Part One. (You will still need to see me for the map numbers.)
