Lebo Library Materials and Services

Books
Our book collection contains over 26,000 copies contined in the main library
on the second floor and the Fine Arts Resource Center on the fifth floor.  The
Dewey Decimal System is used for classification, and our system is
completely automated.  Our print materials consist of Reference books (center),
non-fiction (left) and fiction titles (right).

Newspapers
We subscribe to the following newspapers: The Pittsburgh Post Gazette,
The Tribune-Review, and  USA Today ,

 Magazines
The Library subscribes to over 50 magazine titles.  They are stored in the rooms
on the far right end of the library.  To search for an article in a magazine, you
will need to use the Readers' Guide to Periodical Literature.  To learn more,
click on one of the links below.

Audio Visual Materials (A.V.)
The library also maintains a collection of CDs, DVDs, Videos, and Recorded
Books.  Items appearing in the card catalog (OPAC) are available for student
use.  Other materials located in the A.V. room in the library are loaned out
to faculty and to students with special permission.

Computers
The library is equipped with a bank of computers for student use.  From each
terminal students may access the card catalog (OPAC), Student Resource
Center, and the Internet.  While in the library, students are only to use computers
for school related activities and projects.  They are not permitted to play games,
chat,  or e-mail.  These rules are in accordance with the District's Acceptable Use Policy
