For those who are already members of the Mt. Lebanon HS chapter of National Honor Society there are several requirements to maintain your membership as a senior:
You are required to participate as a member in the annual NHS Service project and other NHS activities through the year.
You are required to demonstrate scholarship by maintaining a 3.8 quality point average.
You are required to continue to do 10 hours of community service per year (5 in school and 5 out of school) by the deadline for doing so. See Mrs. Kolko if you have any questions about how many hours you have reported.
You are required to remain of good character.
There is not any continuing evaluation of your leadership once you have become a member of NHS however you are encouraged to continue to be a leader as your time and abilities permit.
Failure to complete these requirements can jeaopordize your membership in NHS. Students who are deficient in one or more of these requirements will be referred to the faculty committee for review.
