We encourage you to support our children, school, and teachers by joining the Hoover PTA. This year there isn't a separate charge for homeroom parties. In the past, we requested $6/year per student to support the 3 homeroom parties.
Homeroom parties are just one of many programs supported by the Hoover PTA (see the programs at the bottom of this page). The PTA also steps forward to buy equipment for the school that is not supplied by the district. Last year (2010-2011), our PTA bought a much-needed laminator for the school.
Membership & Dues
Memerbship is only $12/member. Each member receives a PTA ID card and one school directory (the directory is no longer available to non-members).
Your PTA member ID gives you access to the membership-only information on the state PTA website. your PTA membership has many benefits including discounts and infomration from the State and National PTA websites.
Once you receive your card, REGISTER Your Membership online.
A few vendors offering discounts to PTA members include: Hertz, Office Max, Sharp, MeLife Auto & Home, T-Mobile. See the full list of Vendors and the Benefits they offer PTA members.
Joining
To join, submit the appropriate membership form with payment to the PTA box in Hoover's front office.
Volunteering
Volunteers are always needed and welcome! To Volunteer, please complete the Volunteer Form and submit to the PTA box in the school office.
