Your job is to encourage the other parents in the classroom to sign up be a Homeroom Parents and then assign interested parents to help with parties, field trips, and more. This year, we've combined the Membership and Directory forms to make joining even easier. Please consider becoming a Howe PTA member. We need your support to help provide great programs for our students, including the Sunny Funny Fair, Spelling Bees, Science Fair, Fine Arts Festival, Cultural Arts (which funds many educational assemblies for the school), Safewalk, and so much more! Membership dues are $6.00 per parent/guardian. Be sure to fill out the form completely as it will also be used to compile the Howe PTA Directory, which will be available in mid October. Everyone who joins by Friday, 9/24 will receive a Howe PTA Directory, which is a valuable resource when planning birthday parties, play dates, and more. Looking for a fun and challenging after-school activity for your children? Think about Odyssey of the Mind. Odyssey of the Mind is an international creative thinking competition in which teams of five to seven students work together to problem solve and develop their creative talents. Each team is assigned a problem in the fall and is challenged to create an eight-minute presentation with their solution for the competition in March. Don't miss the informational meeting at the Mt.
