Markham PTA FAQs
What is the PTA Council?
The council was formed to coordinate the efforts of local units, spearhead community projects, conduct leadership training, and build community support for PTA and public education. The council often works with the school board and administrators on issues that affect all the schools in the district. The council also educates PTA units on national and local issues. The council does not force units to do anything but does offer guidance.
