Welcome to the website for Edwin Markham Elementary School PTA. As a school of excellence, we have learned that parent involvement is critical for high levels of student achievement. We are blessed at Markham School to have an effective and highly involved parent support system organized through the PTA. In hundreds of ways each year, parents become involved in the education of our children, supporting activities both inside and outside the classroom. There is a place for you as a volunteer, a committee member, or just an interested parent trying to help your child in the best way possible. An abundance of information through this website, the school website at www.mtlsd.org , the weekly newsletter of the PTA, or direct communication with teachers will provide for you the opportunities and activities you may need to become involved in the manner that is best for you and your child.
