Congratulations to all Academic Games students who participated in the On-Sets tournament yesterday! Just a reminder, 6th graders DO NOT have practice today. 7th and 8th graders - you worked hard to earn first place yesterday, and it is supposed to snow, so there is NO PRACTICE today. Mrs. Luptak and Ms. Cochenour (Coke-an-hour) will see you December 2nd, please bring your Propaganda materials! Happy Thanksgiving!
Students: Plan to participate in this year's Spelling Bee on Thursday, December 4th. The preliminary round will be a written spelling exam and will take place immediately after school in the cafeteria. Increase your chances of qualifying for the final Spelling Bee by picking up a Spelling Bee study guide from the table in Mrs. Mackey's office. See you on Thursday, December 4th!
Attention sixth graders. This message is for you. After-school sports is back this week. We have the gym all to ourselves today and tomorrow (Tuesday). If you have nothing to at the end of the school day, come down to the gym. You'll get a little exercise running around the gym screaming like a banshee and have oodles of fun to boot! And, it’s totally free! How can you pass up a deal like that?
Band Rehearsals will be held in the Auditorium Today.
7th grade band will rehearse during periods 1 and 2
8th grade band will rehearse during periods 4 and 5
6th grade band will rehearse during periods 7 and 8
All Orchestra Classes will be held in the band room today. Orchestra students coming into the auditorium for their instruments should enter and exit quietly.

Tuesday
Attention sixth graders. This message is for you. We are doing the sports thing again today. Right after school. In the gym. Yep, two days in a row. Imagine that! See you at 3:10. Bring a buddy. Over and out.
Yesterday, both the 7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams were victorious over Elizabeth Forward at the Mellon Gymnasium. The 8th grade team won convincingly, raising their record to 3-1. The 7th grade team held off a late charge from the Warriors and battled to a 1-point victory. The win gives the 7th grade team a record of 3-1 also. The teams will be in action next week with 2 away games. Thanks for the support from the cheerleaders and all of the fans.
Announcement: Now that winter is here and there is less to do outside, how about tapping into your creative side? Art Expressions is an after school activity where students meet in the art room for an open studio, create using many different mediums (from clay to wire), and socialize with a fun and creative group of people. The program lasts for 6 weeks (on Thursdays), beginning on December 4th, and runs from 3:15-4:45. Please see Miss Donovan in room 206 for a permission slip. Spaces are limited and they will fill up quickly, so we will be on a first-come-first-served basis. It's free, it's fun, and you don't even have to be a good artist! Hope to see you there!
