The Writing Lab is a resource for all stages of the writing process. The lab consists of two rooms that house a total of eighty computers and a full-time Writing Clinician, who is certified in secondary English. In addition to offering a place for students to brainstorm, draft, revise, and edit their written work, the Writing Clinician offers support for students and teachers alike for writing conferences on student writing, including work for English class as well as across the curriculum; college, scholarship, summer program, and apprenticeship application essays; independent writing; and standardized testing essay preparation, including the SAT and ACT.
