Try-out dates for the 2017 volleyball season will be Wednesday, Aug. 30 and Thursday, Aug. 31 from 3:15-5:00 p.m. in the JMS gym.

Each year, the sixth graders visit the Challenger Learning Center at Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling, WV, as the culmination to their space unit in science.
Mrs. Kelly and students wrap-up the year with the annual Writing Celebration and the publication of the Our Piece of Mind literary magazine. A special thanks also goes to all of the Writing Lab volunteers including Mrs. Brown (volunteer coordinator) and Mrs. Augenstein, our longest serving volunteer parent.
The JMS Human Rights Club raised $160 with a Kona Ice sale after school.
Sixth grade Wildfire students Lily Connell and Madelyn Yaremcho were recognized by Pennsylvania American Water for their pieces submitted to the 15th Annual "Protect Our Watersheds" Art Contest.
Over 160 students embarked on D.C. in what has become an annual right of passage for our eighth graders.
Eighth graders Sloan Criner ‚Äčand Haridhar Pulivarthy each received a Certificate of Recognition from the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE).
Allegheny County Sanitary Authority offers free summer camps for students in grades 4 - 8 each summer. Registration is currently open.
