Last evening, the high school held their annual awards program for students receiving scholarship and awards.
Mt Lebanon High School students presented their individual research projects at the 83rd annual State Competition of the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science held earlier this month at Penn State University.
US News and World Report released their 2017 rankings of the Best High Schools in America. Mt. Lebanon High School achieved a Silver Award ranking #11 in PA, #2 in Western PA.
At the April 18 School Board meeting, Mr. Mike Melnyk, Mt. Lebanon High School head football coach and high school social studies teacher, was honored for receiving the US Marine Corps Semper Fi Coach Award.
Attending a United States Service Academy and serving our nation in the armed forces is a selfless and noble pursuit. Many of the students living in the 18th Congressional District have identified this goal and have endeavored through their academic career to make it a reality.
Five students from the Honors Scientific Investigations course (soon to be Honors STEM-Exploration) spent a day at the University of Pittsburgh for a STEM experience.
Mt. Lebanon High School has earned accreditation by the Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary School.
We are pleased to announce that Ms. Susan Meer, Mt. Lebanon High School chemistry teacher, has been selected as a recipient of the 2016 Yale Educator Award.
