Washington's Snuggle Up & Read Night |

On January 10th, at Washington School we had our second annual Snuggle up and Read Night. This year we were collecting pajamas and books to donate to The Pajama Project. This charity collects pjs and books for needy children. We collected 160 pairs of pajamas and a whopping 600 BOOKS! At Snuggle up and Read Night teachers come to school and read a books to students in pjs. We also gave out cookies and milk! We’re already looking forward to next year! We hope you can make it!

On Tuesday, October 23 the first grade had the opportunity to "talk football" with Sandy Romah from McDonalds-Steelers KidZONE. Look for the children on Sunday mornings, October 28 and November 4 at 10:30 on the CW.
