ABOUT THE PTA...

The mission of the PTA is:

• To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community and
  place of worship.
• To raise the standards of home life.
• To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.
• To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and
  teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.

Washington Elementary School PTA is..

• An organization that supports families coming together to support our children's education.
• A way for parents to get involved in the Washington community and get to know other Washington families.
• A voice for parents to make a difference in their child's school.
• An organization that values contributions of all types and sizes.
• An organization that strives to include EVERYONE!!!
