US News Announces 2023 Best K-8 Rankings

U.S. News & World Report announced the 2023 Best K-8 Schools rankings.  The data encompasses more than 103,099 pre-K, elementary, and middle schools.  

The methodology for the rankings focuses on math and reading proficiency, or how well students perform on state assessments, and math and reading performance, or how well they perform compared to expectations.

Elementary Rankings, out of 2,978:  

9th - Markham

29th - Foster

35th - Washington

39th - Jefferson

45th - Lincoln

73rd - Howe

76th - Hoover

Middle School Rankings, out of 2,134: 

10th - Jefferson

15th - Mellon
