Anna Mares and Rosemary Crist Awarded Superior Writing Awards from the NCTE

Congratulations to Anna Mares and Rosemary Crist, who each won Superior Writing Awards for their respective submissions to the National Council of Teachers of English annual Achievements in Writing Program. This year, schools nominated 285 students to participate in the Achievement Awards. Of those, 136 were selected to receive Certificates of Superior Writing, and 148 received Certificates of Nomination.

The NCTE Achievement Awards in Writing is a school-based writing program established in 1957 to encourage high school students to write and to recognize some of the best student writers in the nation. Only students who are juniors may participate.
