Congratulations to four Mt. Lebanon High School students who participated in the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science state competition at Penn State University. Yash Botre earned a first place award for his presentation of his research project titled Data Analysis of Diseases using a Computerized Approach. Vishnu Venugopal earned a first place award for his project, Robot Risk. Laila Polat earned a first place award for The Effectiveness of Commercial Water Purification Methods. And, Lucian Mikush earned a second place award for his presentation on The Use of Rational Functions in Signal Synthesis.
In addition to these awards, Laila Polat received the PJAS Student Award valued at $300 from the Society of Analytical Chemists of Pittsburgh.
