Mellon Middle School student Benjamin Mares won a National PTA Award of Merit for his Film Production entry, titled "The World In Perspective," in the Middle School grade division. Additionally, he will receive a bronze medal from the National PTA competition.
Mares will be one of the 3 students from Pennsylvania who will be featured in National PTA’s virtual exhibit at the National PTA Convention in June and in the National PTA's Virtual Showcase.
