Congratulations to our championship Model UN Team who won 1st Place at the University of Pittsburgh Model UN Tournament held on October 26th.

Our students won the 1st Place award for Best Team representing Ethiopia and the 3rd place Best Team representing Turkey.  The competition featured seven committees in total and Mt. Lebanon students won 1st place in five and 2nd place in the remaining two.

Students who won 1st Place individual awards were Sava Stanoev, Felix Yang, Mahima Vasudevan, Rushil Kakkhad and Deborah Fu.  Capturing 2nd Place honors were Nadia D'Arrigo and Amy Tan.  Winning a 3rd Place award was Trenton Wood.

Our Lebo Model UN students are excited to be back competing in person after the last 2 years of video conferences.

We look forward to including more of our growing Mt. Lebanon MUN Team in upcoming competitions.  This year, a record number of 60 students have joined the Model UN program.

We, along with coaches Adam Lumish and George Savarese, are immensely proud of the student participants!
