Science Olympiad Finds Success at Pennsylvania Championship

Congratulations to our high school Science Olympiad team who participated in the Pennsylvania Championship at Penn State on Saturday, April 30th.  The top 36 teams in Pennsylvania squared off for a chance to go to nationals.  Mt. Lebanon placed in the top 15 in the state, in eleven separate STEM events.

11th place in state: Green Generation - Akash Schmid & Zitong Donna Wang

11th place in state: Write It Do It!  - Annie Du & Maddie Rea

11th place in state: Science Quiz Bowl - Krishna Dhiman & Teba Latef

After only the fourth year for our team to compete, MTLHS placed first in the SWPA region for a second time.  Congratulations to the students and team advisor, Ms. Pamela Harris, on your successful season this year!
