The Mt. Lebanon School District is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming school environment that recognizes and celebrates the diverse identities of all members of our school community, including students, their families, faculty, and staff. The role of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee is to act as a liaison between the Board and the District Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Taskforce and to communicate the work of the Taskforce to the School Board and the entire community during Diversity Committee and Board meetings.

In 2020 the Mt. Lebanon School District formed a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Board Committee. The role of this committee is to communicate the work of the District Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Taskforce to the School Board and the entire community during DEI and full Board meetings.
