District Gifts & Donations

The Mt. Lebanon High School Hall of Champions is located in the Athletic Building and includes: WPIAL and PIAA championship teams; individual WPIAL and PIAA champions; All-American and All-State athletes.

The Hall of Champions also honors outstanding coaches and teams at the Hall of Champions Celebration. In 2017, Coach Black was honored. In 2018, Coach Art Walker and Coach Chuck Stull will be honored with their teams on October 6, 2018.

Sue Harper, a beloved first grade teacher in the District for over 15 years, passed away in early 2016. In her memory, family and friends have established the Sue Harper Endowed Teaching Award. This award, which includes a monetary gift, will be given each year to an elementary teacher. All Mt. Lebanon School District teachers in Kindergarten through 5th grade with at least five years of teaching experience in the District are eligible for this award. The Mt. Lebanon School District elementary libraries opened Matt's Makerspaces in each of our elementary schools. These makerspaces were made possible thanks to a generous gift from Mt. Lebanon alumni and parents, Noelle and David Conover. The rooms are named Matt’s Maker Space in memory of the Conover’s son Matt. These maker spaces will give our students the chance to make, play, design and code.

Maker spaces are collaborative work spaces that provide hands on creative ways for students to design, experiment, build and invent as they engage in science, technology and tinkering.

We are also pleased to announce our partnership with the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh--a national leader in maker space design--to help us make our vision a reality.
