Going the Extra Mile

We always tell our students to "look for the helpers" in difficult times. At the December 10, 2018 School Board meeting the Board recognized Ms. Jen Sloan and Mr. Joe Mirt with Extra Mile Awards. Both were nominated by their school administrators for helping students in their schools in a critical moment of need. Read More


2019-2020 School Calendar Approved

The School Board approved the calendar for the 2019-2020 school year. The first day of classes for students is August 26 and the last day is on June 9. New for this year, a snow make-up day on February 17 has been built into the calendar.  If necessary, the remaining snow days will be made up in June.  Read More


Lincoln Students Send Holiday Cheer in Stockings for Soldiers

Lincoln Elementary School homerooms stuffed stockings with treats to send some welcome holiday cheer to the women and men serving in the military who will not make it home for the holidays.

 District Honored for 34th Year with ASBO CAFR Award

The Association of School Business Officials International has awarded the Mt. Lebanon School District with the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting. This award recognizes districts that have met the program's high standards for financial reporting and accountability. The school district earned the Certificate of Excellence for its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the fiscal year ended 2017. Read More


High School Takes 4th Straight Win at Pitt's European Union Competition

The University of Pittsburgh held the fourth annual Model European Union Conference on December 7 and for the fourth year in a row Mt. Lebanon High School won the 1st Place award. Read More


School Digger Ranks MTLSD #4 in PA

Mt. Lebanon Schools were once again listed among the top schools in Pennsylvania in the School Digger rankings for 2018. The District was ranked 4th out of the 603 Districts in the Commonwealth, performing better than 99.5% of other districts in Pennsylvania.  School Digger is a website designed to help parents find information about schools.
