No. 212. Soccer Origins (HS RM C304)  

DATE: Tuesdays, September 22

This class will help you learn everything you need to know about “The Beautiful Game”.  We will discuss the origin of the world’s favorite sport, the laws of the game, major tournaments, who the historically successful teams are, and learn about the roles of positions on the field.  Some tactical information will be discussed, but this course is focused more on the history and laws of the game, rather than coaching methods or strategies.

Improve stamina and endurance through competitive basketball.  Pick-up games scheduled every class.  All games are supervised by an instructor.  Class size will be limited to give each participant maximum playing time.  Players may also opt for the pay as you play option-$6/night or $10.00/week.  Times are subject to change due to court availability.

Have fun and get fit! 

(Bring a bottle of water.  No sneakers.  Sticky socks/dance shoes/barefoot only.) This short cardio class will start with a quick warm-up and then will continue with a variety of fun & inspiring cardio dance routines.  You will burn calories and have some fun! 



No. 106  BARRE IT - Fall Session II (HS RM D105)

(Bring a mat, bottle of water, 1-5 lb. hand weights, & thera-band (available for purchase or BYO.  No sneakers.  Sticky socks/dance shoes/barefoot only.)  Class will sculpt your body using the barre, thera-bands and hand weights, followed by core work on the floor and a generous stretch (infusing Ballet, Pilates, and Yoga exercises).  You will burn calories, strengthen your core, sculpt those trouble spots, and leave in a more peaceful state.

Class focuses on yoga as a "science of the mind" to incorporate into the asana practice.

Mild to moderate "flow" with dynamic breathing and synchronized movement. Open, relax, reinvigorate, nourish & restore.      


ENERGY FLOW (10-weeks)  

Thursday 7:15 pm-8:15 pm (Begins 9/30)

No classes: 11/4 & 11/25

Link breath and movement in a rhythmic dance that frees the mind-- This class physically wrings out and balances all parts of the self. This class includes several sun salutations to help build heat, align and strengthen the body.


Bring a yoga mat & water. Blocks, blankets, straps or towels optional.


Drop Ins are welcome at $8/ class!
