Welcome to the Mt. Lebanon School District! We are excited to partner with you in your student’s educational journey and look forward to providing an exceptional learning experience from the very start. 

Enrollment Eligibility 

  • All students in grades K–12 who live within the Mt. Lebanon School District attendance boundaries are invited to enroll. 
  • Use our School Attendance Areas tool to confirm your address and assigned school.

When To Enroll 

  • Grades 1–12: Enrollment is open year-round.
  • Kindergarten: Enrollment for the following school year opens February 1 each year.
    • Children who turn 5 years old by September 1 are eligible.
    • Children who turn 5 years old by September 30 may also qualify. See the District’s Admission of Students policy for details.
    • Kindergarten students who move into Mt. Lebanon during the school year from another district may enroll at any time.

What You’ll Need To Enroll 

  • Before starting, please gather the following documents:
    • Proof of age: Birth certificate or passport (student)
    • Parent/guardian ID: Driver’s license, state ID, or passport
    • Proof of residency (2 required): Examples include lease, deed, purchase agreement, utility bill, property tax bill, or stormwater fee bill
      • The documents must include the service address and parent/guardian’s name
    • Immunization records (student)
    • Other documents as needed:
      • Court or custody papers
      • IEP, GIEP, or 504 Plan
  • If enrolling multiple children, you’ll need to upload documents for each child.

How to Enroll (Step-by-Step)

Enrollment Express
MTLSD utilizes the online platform Enrollment Express to initiate the enrollment process for every new student. 

Enrollment Express

  • Start Enrollment Express
  • Click the Enrollment Express button to begin.
    • We recommend using Google Chrome.
  • Complete the Pre-Enrollment Form.
  • Fill out one form per child.

You’ll receive a confirmation email when submitted.


Enrollment Review Process 

  • Our Central Enrollment team will verify your address and residency. 

LeboID 

  • Once your residency is approved, you will receive an email to create a LeboID Account.
    •  LeboID is the Mt. Lebanon School District’s single sign-on (SSO) platform. It is a centralized, secure, and convenient way for our faculty, staff, students, and families to access various applications with one set of credentials. 
  • Create your parent/guardian LeboID account (used for enrollment forms and, later, PowerSchool access).

Enrollment Forms 

Complete additional forms and upload documents in PowerSchool. Users will need to complete the LeboID setup first before starting this step.

  • Parents/Guardians with existing LeboID accounts can complete the enrollment forms after receiving the pre-enrollment approval email by logging into LeboID.

Complete Your Enrollment Forms

  • Login to LeboID and select the PowerSchool application to complete the six enrollment forms and upload the required documents.

Final Enrollment Approval

  • Once all documents are reviewed, you’ll receive a Final Enrollment Approval email with your child’s assigned school.
  • This marks the completion of enrollment.

Next Steps from Your School

  • Your child’s school will follow up with start dates, class assignments, and other details.

Additional Information

  • Free & Reduced Meals: Families may apply online through COMPASS or by using the application on the District website.
  • Approved families may also qualify for reduced fees for activities if they submit a Share Form (available from your school secretary).
