Secondary Education

The office of the Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Education oversees the curriculum, instructional resources, assessment, and professional development for grades 6 through 12 at the District’s two middle schools and one high school. Our middle schools offer a strong and consistent curriculum across both buildings that integrates the best in middle-level practices. Mt. Lebanon High School is a high-performing school that is consistently ranked as a top public school in county, state, and national rankings.

Our Secondary Department Chairs are teacher leaders who provide strategic direction for their respective department, develop course content and design, select materials and assessments, and direct professional development.
