The MTLSD Summer Enrichment Program provides enrichment activities for students entering grades 4-8 in the 2019-2020 school year. Registration will open May 13. The Summer Enrichment program's goal, to provide an intellectually stimulating environment for elementary students during the summer months, is aligned with the District's mission statement. Furthermore the program specifically addresses student achievement process targets in mathematics, communication, technology, critical thinking and cooperative work.
Programs are open to students from all districts currently in grades 3-7 (in 2018-2019 school year) and has four sessions:
Session I: June 24-27
Session II: July 8-11
Session III: July 15-18
Session IV: July 22-25
Time: 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. (Monday through Thursday)
Summer Enrichment Course Catalog
The Summer Enrichment course offering list is currently being built, and a list of available courses will be available on this site on Monday, May 6. Course lists will also be sent via E-blast to families in the district who have students eligible for the program. The registration site will begin on May 13, and a link to the registration page will be included on this site as well.
Please note that course fees must be paid electronically through the Summer Enrichment registration site at time of registration. Paper checks will no longer be accepted as a form of payment.
Most of the 2019 courses will be held at the Mt. Lebanon High School; a few classes will be held in other Mt. Lebanon schools.
