On Tuesday, July 17, the Mt. Lebanon Police and Fire Departments, MRTSA, the Mt. Lebanon School District and St. Clair Hospital will hold an active shooter drill at the high school. The high school campus will be closed from 8am-noon during the drill.

In cooperation with Mt. Lebanon High School and the Mt. Lebanon Police Association, The Salvation Army Pittsburgh Temple Worship and Service Center will begin preparing for back to school as soon as this year's school year ends. On Saturday, June 2, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, in the Southminster Parking Lot next to the Mount Lebanon Library, volunteers will be on hand to collect donations of gently used shoes and clothing for kids in grades K-12. Items that are sought include jeans, shorts, polos, sweatshirts, sneakers, dress shoes and dress clothes in all sizes and genders. Donations of gently used backpacks and school supplies are also being accepted. Donations will also be accepted after the drive at The Salvation Army Pittsburgh Temple Worship and Service Center located at 1060 McNeilly Road. The donations will be sorted and cleaned, and then distributed to those in need prior to the start of the new school year in the fall.

The class of 2018 commencement ceremony will take place on June 13th at the high school stadium (7:00 pm). Students will have a 2:00 pm dismissal this day.

The last day of school for students is June 19th. Hot lunches will not be served as there is a 12 pm dismissal.

Some students in 10th grade will be participating in the Pennsylvania Keystone Exam testing to be held on May 17-18, 21-22, & 23-24. Other students will have a 10 am start time.
