The Steelers are coming to Mt. Lebanon on Friday, May 4th at 7 PM for the Steelers vs. Mt. Lebanon All Stars Basketball Game. Tickets are $7 at the door. Proceeds benefit Relay for Life and The Caring Team For Children. Autographs at half-time. Questions can be directed to Mark Debernardis at 412-344-2000 x 10170

NOTE: Tonight's cast will be rescheduled for Saturday at 2pm and tickets purchased for tonight will be good for the Saturday Matinee. Refund information will be forthcoming if needed. The Mt. Lebanon High School Evening and Theatre and Technical Companies will present The Adventures of Robin Hood on March 21-24 at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Theatre.

THE ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD March 21-24 7:30 p.m. Fine Arts Theatre Written by: Michele L. VaccaProduced by Special Arrangement with CLASSICS ON STAGE! of Chicago The year is 1194 in Nottinghamshire England and the beloved King Richard has been called off to the Crusades, leaving his brother, the greedy Prince John, in charge. When Robin Hood and his Merrie Band catch wind of the nefarious Sheriff of Nottingham's plan to collect taxes (again), they cannot help! They follow the Sheriff into a nearby village where they temporarily foil his plans and run into the feisty Maid Marian. After some tomfoolery in Sherwood Forest, the Sheriff vows to get his revenge on Robin Hood, kidnaps Marian, and arranges an irresistible archery contest with his henchman, Oswald the Unready. Will Robin fall into the Sheriff's evil trap? Follow the Merrie Band on this classic adventure of intrigue, disguise, and justice! TICKETS General Admission tickets are $8 and go on sale online on February 26. Students can receive a discount $5 ticket if they purchase their ticket from Mrs. Stettler in the office with a valid MTL Student ID. Tickets will be $10 at the door.

Students taking SATs at Mt. Lebanon on Saturday, March 10, 2018, should be dropped off at the auditorium entrance (A-2) along Cochran Rd. Doors open at 7 am, and testing starts promptly at 8 am. Students parking on-site should use the Faculty / Staff parking lot on the south side of the building, but all test-takers should enter only through the auditorium entrance (A-2) along Cochran Rd. Signs inside the building will show room assignments, and guides will direct test-takers to those testing rooms. Bring all required materials (see College Board rules), or you will be turned away without refund. Please note that school ID from last school year is NOT valid for SAT admission. Please contact the Test Center Supervisor, Rolf Briegel, at with any questions or concerns.

Please note two very important changes to the March 2018 school calendar. 1. On March 1, 2018, classes are canceled ONLY for Mt. Lebanon High School students due to the high school hosting the Spring 2018 Pennsylvania Association of Student Council's State conference. The elementary and middle schools will be in session. High School staff will be involved in professional development activities during the day. 2. On March 13, 2018, due to the special election for the 18th Congressional District, classes are canceled ONLY for elementary and middle school students. The High School will be in session. K-8 staff will be involved in professional development activities during the day.

The student, Nikolas Mustian, is a senior who placed 1st at the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Sciences Science Fair 6 years in a row. He will be moving on to the State level competition this May at Penn State.

Please join us for our upcoming speaker series on "Forgotten Aspects of the Civil Rights Movement" presented by Mt. Lebanon High School Social Studies Teacher Mr. Pete DiNardo. The series will be held February 8, March 1, and April 5 starting at 7pm in the Fine Arts Theatre. Please click the link for more details regarding each presentation.

Coming February 22, 2018, is the STEAM Showcase! The evening will include a laser show presentation. Guests will also have the opportunity to visit Center Court where artifacts of student work in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math will be displayed. Educational activities from kindergarten to grade 12 will be represented. Additionally, an increased variety of "Maker Spaces" will be set up through the school. Guests will be able to playfully interact with LEDs, LEGOs, Keva Planks, robots, laser engravers, and 3D printers, as well as build barges, roller coaster loops, spaghetti towers and more. Finally, our guests will be invited to tour some of the amazing science classrooms and labs at the high school. See the flyer below for details! Parents and children are welcome to this fun and educational event!

Please join us for the high school's annual Curriculum Night on Tuesday, January 30 from 7pm - 9pm. A special program providing a general overview of the high school program presented by high school principals for current 8th grade parents and students will begin at 7pm in the high school auditorium. There is a mountain of coats, hats, shoes, lunch bags, water bottles, text books, and other assorted items that have been turned in to the lost and found cabinet in the Student Activities office. Please stop by and claim your lost item(s) before they are donated to a charity.

2018 SNOWBALL DANCE "A NIGHT IN WONDERLAND" on Saturday, February 3, 2018. The dance begins at 8:00 pm and ends at 11:00 pm. Tickets cost $10.00 each and can be purchased with a completed Dance Agreement for a Mt. Lebanon High School student or for a guest accompanying a Mt. Lebanon High School student. Tickets are sold in the Student Activities office until 2/2/18 at 3:30 pm. Please contact the Student Activities office at 412-344-2057 with any questions about this event.
