Forgotten Aspects of the Civil Rights Movement Speaker Series

Please join us for our upcoming speaker series on "Forgotten Aspects of the Civil Rights Movement" presented by Mt. Lebanon High School Social Studies Teacher Mr. Pete DiNardo. The series will be held February 8, March 1, and April 5 starting at 7pm in the Fine Arts Theatre. Please click HERE for more details regarding each presentation.

About the speaker, Mr. DiNardo:

Mt. Lebanon High School is proud to present a speaker series this winter/spring on the "Forgotten Aspects of the Civil Rights Movement". This series will be presented by Mt. Lebanon High School Social Studies Teacher Mr. Pete DiNardo. Mr. DiNardo is a 21 year veteran of the Mt. Lebanon School District, and 28 years overall teaching experience. Over the years, Mr. DiNardo has presented at Mt. Lebanon Library as a member of The Historical Society of Mt. Lebanon, at the National Council for History Education's national conference in Boston, coordinated various broad-based community service endeavors with students, and has been a teacher of Advanced Placement US History and Advanced Placement United States Politics & Government. He has organized student attendance at over 50 public talks and film viewings as well as coordinated with the public library a speakers program of AP US History student presentations.
