The Pittsburgh Concert Society has announced the winners of the 2018 Young Artists Auditions. Congratulations to Mt. Lebanon High School senior violinist Hannah Ishizaki and sophomore violinist Sein Lee. Sein was selected as part of the Cygnus Quartet with students from other schools. Auditions were held at Carnegie Mellon University were open to instrumentalists under age 19 and vocalists under 22 living or studying within a 75-mile radius of Pittsburgh. Each of the recitalists will perform in a recital in addition to receiving an Anna and Benjamin Perlow Scholarship to help further his/her musical education.
Hannah performed in a concert with the other selected musicians on March 18 and Sein will perform with the other selected musicians on April 8. The concerts will be at 2pm at Kresge Recital Hall, Carnegie Mellon University.
