HES costume parade/party flyer

On Monday, October 31st students in Grades K-5 will be participating in our annual costume parade beginning at 2:15PM on the blacktop located near the main office. AM Kindergarten students will parade at 10:00AM and are welcome to return to Hoover (accompanied by an adult) for the 2:15PM parade. Classroom parties will begin immediately following the costume parade.

Below are some important reminders about tomorrow's events:

  • Students in Grades 1-5 should bring their costumes to school. Time will be provided for the students to get into their costumes. Students should be able to dress themselves independently, or with minimal assistance.
  • Students should not bring any look-alike weapons into the classrooms as a part of their costumes. Please monitor this situation closely when your children bring their costumes to school.
  • Only parents who have been designated by the homeroom coordinator as party volunteers/chaperones will be permitted to go to the classrooms following the parade. This is for the safety and security of the students.
  • The school is expected to be particularly crowded for this event. Please be mindful of the standard parking and traffic rules and exercise caution while in your vehicle. Also, remember that parking on Robb Hollow in front of the building is not permitted during school hours.

Additional details were sent in a separate email notification, and have been linked here for your convenience. Should you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact the main office.
