No. 109 BASKETBALL LEAGUE (Auxiliary Gyms, Gold and South)

Mondays-Thursdays, May 13th - June 27th

7:30-10:00 pm

INSTRUCTOR: Dick Black/David Black

Fees: Team (nine players) $320/team

Additional players (up to 2) $40/player

Reversible league jersey $15 each

Forfeit fee $75

Join us for our 59th year. This is a competitive five-on-five basketball league for adult residents and Mt. Lebanon graduates. Email dblack@mtlsd.net for Team Entry/Roster Form. Team captains can bring Entry/Roster Form completed with players’ names & addresses along with payment for fees to the lobby of new Athletic Complex between 8:00-9:00 PM on Wednesday, May 8th. Teams making the playoffs will be responsible for the additional cost of licensed referees.


No. 110 FOOT IT and BARRE IT (HS Dance Studio, D-105)

Mondays, Wednesdays, April 15th

NO CLASS: 4/22; 5/27

These classes are the perfect complement to each other. Get ready to burn calories, strengthen your core, sculpt those trouble spots, and leave in a more peaceful state. No sneakers. Sticky socks/dance shoes/barefoot only. MONDAY: Class begins with a variety of fun & inspiring cardio dance routines followed by toning and stretching. (Bring a mat & bottle of water). WEDNESDAY: Class will sculpt your body using the barre, thera-bands and hand weights, followed by core work on the floor and a generous stretch (infusing Ballet, Pilates, and Yoga exercises). (Bring a mat, bottle of water, 1-5 lb. hand weights, & thera-band (available for purchase or BYO)).

No. 501 BOOT IT (HS Fitness Room)

CLASSES ON: 4/26; 5/3; 5/10; and 5/17

6:30-7:30 pm (4-classes)

This class is an indoor/outdoor boot camp style training course that combines cardio and toning exercises to get a total body workout. It will begin with a warm-up and then will include cardio and strength training intervals. Outside use of the field is dependent on weather. Participants should bring water and a mat.

Class focuses on yoga as a "science of the mind" to incorporate into the asana practice.


RESTORATIVE VINYASA (6-weeks)

Tuesdays 7:15-8:15pm (Begins 4/16)

Saturdays 10:15-11:15am (Begins 4/27)

Mild to moderate "flow" with dynamic breathing and synchronized movement. Open, relax, reinvigorate, nourish & restore.


ENERGY FLOW (6-weeks)

Thursdays 7:15-8:15pm (Begins 4/25)

Link breath and movement in a rhythmic dance that frees the mind. This class physically wrings out and balances all parts of the self. This class includes several sun salutations to help build heat, align and strengthen the body.


Bring a yoga mat & water. Blocks, blankets, straps or towels optional.
