No. 103 BASKETBALL (Gym A-101, Gold)

Mondays & Wednesdays, January 14th

8:30-10:30 pm (12- weeks)

INSTRUCTOR: Noel Twyman

R $75; NR $85; GC $67

Improve stamina and endurance through competitive basketball. Pick-up games scheduled every class. All games are supervised by an instructor. Class size will be limited to give each participant maximum playing time. Times are subject to change due to court availability.


No. 111 FOOT IT and BARRE IT (HS Dance Studio, D-105)

Monday & Wednesday, January 14th

7:00-8:15 pm (10-weeks)

MONDAY’S: (Bring a mat & bottle of water) class begins with a variety of fun & inspiring cardio dance routines followed by toning and stretching.

WEDNESDAY’S: (Bring a mat, bottle of water, 1-5 lb. hand weights, & thera-band (available for purchase or BYO). No sneakers. Sticky socks/dance shoes/barefoot only.) Class will sculpt your body using the barre, thera-bands and hand weights, followed by core work on the floor and a generous stretch (infusing Ballet, Pilates, and Yoga exercises). These classes are the perfect complement to each other. Get ready to burn calories, strengthen your core, sculpt those trouble spots, and leave in a more peaceful state.


No. 502 BOOT IT (HS Fitness Room)

CLASSES ON: 1/18; 2/1; 2/15; 3/1; and 3/15

6:30-7:30 pm (5-classes)

INSTRUCTOR: Meghan Moran

Fee: R $25; NR $30; GC $20

This class is an indoor/outdoor boot camp style training course that combines cardio and toning exercises to get a total body workout. It will begin with a warm-up and then will include cardio and strength training intervals. Outside use of the field is dependent on weather. Participants should bring water and a mat.


No. 503 SATURDAY MORNING MAT PILATES (HS RM D-105)

Saturdays, January 19th

9:00-10:15 am (10-weeks)

INSTRUCTOR: Meghan Moran

Fee: R $50; NR $55 GC $45

This class uses controlled movements in the form of mat exercises to tone and strengthen the body, increase flexibility, and build endurance, without adding muscle bulk. By incorporating the eight principles of control, breath, flow, precision, centering, stability, range of motion, and opposition, the core muscles that support the spine will be strengthened, increasing the functionality of the body. The class will end with a generous stretch. Please bring a mat and water.

Class focuses on yoga as a "science of the mind" to incorporate into the asana practice.


RESTORATIVE VINYASA (10-weeks)

Tuesday 7:15-8:15pm (Begins 1/15)

Saturdays, 10:15-11:15am (Begins 1/19)-No class 3/9

Mild to moderate "flow" with dynamic breathing and synchronized movement. Open, relax, reinvigorate, nourish & restore.


ENERGY FLOW (10-weeks)

Thursday 7:15 pm-8:15 pm (Begins 1/17)-No class: 1/24

Link breath and movement in a rhythmic dance that frees the mind-- This class physically wrings out and balances all parts of the self. This class includes several sun salutations to help build heat, align and strengthen the body.


Bring a yoga mat & water. Blocks, blankets, straps or towels optional.
