Jefferson Middle School held their annual International Night to celebrate the rich cultural diversity of the school. JMS families packed the school to enjoy an evening of food and entertainment from around the world. There is no better place to sample delicious food from every corner of the world as families shared their favorite family recipes for the pot luck dinner--no better way to start off the night than with a community meal. After dinner, the entertainment kicked off in the auditorium. Students proudly displayed their ethnic heritage by performing traditional dances that required great skill and a lot of practice. In addition there were games and raffle baskets that raised $5,600 for the Cali Orphanage Fund to benefit orphanages in Haiti and Colombia. This event has raised thousands of dollars over the years to benefit the work of these orphanages. Congratulations to the JMS community, faculty, students and parents for another successful International Night.
