8th grade students at Jefferson Middle School created a video as a part of a STEM Video competition. The team included 8 students: Molly Doherty, Maddie Rea, Ben Ash, Connor Frank, Melanie Rayl, Rosemary Crist, Kaloyan Stefanov, and Michael Mylen.
The Student Video Contest is sponsored by Catalyst Connection, a non-profit economic development organization that helps small manufacturers in southwestern Pennsylvania improve their competitive performance. Catalyst Connection created the "Explore the New Manufacturing" Program to help build a strong pipeline of talent and give young people a new perspective on the exciting and current career opportunities that exist in the manufacturing industry.
The JMS students traveled to Jennison Corporation in Carnegie in November where they filmed all footage.
The students are competing to get more votes for their video than other local schools. Click the link below, as well as the trending posts on social media to view and vote for the video ALL WEEK!
